Fairfield’s NAIDOC Family Fun Day will be held at Fairfield Showground. Everyone is welcome to join the event to honour and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

About the event

Fairfield’s NAIDOC Family Fun Day will be held at Fairfield Showground during NAIDOC Week on Tuesday 8 July from 11am - 3pm. Residents of Fairfield and Southwest Sydney’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are encouraged to plan their attendance and share in celebrations of the free event. 


Held in partnership with the Fairfield Engaging Families of Aboriginal Heritage (FEFAH) working group since 2019, the free 2025 NAIDOC Family Fun Day will feature children’s activities, Aboriginal specific and general stalls, a free BBQ lunch, cultural performances, arts and crafts activities, a sensory friendly space, a parent and babies’ area, lucky door prizes and information displays.


Local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander suppliers are encouraged to showcase their products and sell to the public at the event.
