Sutherland Shire Council sponsors this event in partnership with local First Nations organisations to recognise and reflect on the impact of Australia Day on the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community by commencing with a cultural ceremony.

Bring your friends and family to a picnic to join us in solidarity for the reconciliation movement. A cleansing smoking ceremony will ready us for a day of reflection, respect, and celebration as we come together at the end of Reconciliation week.
