Fairfield City Council and the Fairfield Engaging Families of Aboriginal Heritage will host this free event as an opportunity for all Australians to learn about local First Nations culture and participate in celebrations of the oldest continuous living cultures on Earth.

About the event


Local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers and entertainers will be performing on stage at this event.


Radical Son, the creative moniker of David Leha will be performing. A highly skilled artist, renowned for his magnetic performances, spell-binding vocals and a style that fuses hip hop, soul and a powerful connection to Country and his cultural roots, Radical Son is First Nations, from the Kamilaroi nation of Australia and the South Pacific nation of Tonga. National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
