Sutherland Shire Reconciliation invites you to gather at Silver Beach in Kurnell on Sunday the 26th of May to watch the rising sun as we reflect on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples forcibly removed from their homes and communities.
This is an important day in our calendar as we commemorate the 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘦 report. On this day we remember and acknowledge the strength of survivors and the descendants of those subjected to forced removal policies, laws, and practices.
