Volunteers Needed for Sharks v Raiders 15 August

The Cronulla Sharks have invited us back as their partners for the Indigenous Round: Sharks V Canberra Raiders at Ocean Protect Stadium, Woolooware on Saturday 15 August 2026. This will be high exposure for SSR and for people to learn more about us and the work we do in the Community.

In the past two years we’ve participated in their 50/50 charity raffle. Thanks to your incredible support, we have set a record at Shark Stadium for the charity raffle, and that record still stands! This year, we are eager to raise even more money for our work, but we can't do it without your help! 

​

We need 20 volunteers over the age of 18 to be ambassadors for SSR and also help us sell raffle tickets.

You will need to be available in the afternoon on 15 August and we will get some training from the organisers. We will all sell raffle tickets from when the gates open, and throughout the first half of the game (kick off is at 3pm). From half time, you can relax and watch the second half of the game. All volunteers are granted free entry.
