Volunteers needed for Sharks v Titans 16 August

The Cronulla Sharks have invited us back as their partners for the Indigenous Round: Sharks V Titans at Shark Stadium, Woolooware on Saturday 16 August 2025. This will be high exposure for SSR and for people to learn more about us and the work we do in the Community.

Last year, we participated in their 50/50 charity raffle. Thanks to your incredible support, we set a record at Shark Stadium for the charity raffle, and that record still stands! This year, we are eager to set a new record, but we can't do it without your help!

We need 20 volunteers over the age of 18 to be ambassadors for SSR and also help us sell raffle tickets.

You will need to be available in the afternoon on 16 August and we will get some training from the organisers. We will all sell raffle tickets from when the gates open, and throughout the first half of the game (kick off is at 3pm). From half time, you can relax and watch the second half of the game.  All volunteers are granted free entry.

Please email suthsrec@gmail.com to advise if you are available to be involved, and then you will be provided with further information.

We are excited to extend this invitation to you to help us raise funds. Your contributions will enable us to continue hosting fun family events and raising awareness about reconciliation. Please consider being an ambassador for our wonderful organisation.

Sutherland Shire Reconciliation acknowledges the Dharawal language speaking people of the Gweagal and Norongerragal clans, as the traditional custodians of the lands within the Sutherland Shire. We are grateful for their immemorial care of the lands and waterways on which we live and work.
